Making the Smiley brand discoverable in AI-powered search
The challenge
Smiley has a globally recognised brand, but much of its content was not structured for modern AI-powered discovery. As search behaviour shifts from traditional search engines to AI assistants and LLMs, important brand information risked becoming difficult for AI systems to interpret, reference and surface accurately. Valuable brand content existed, but it was not always presented in a way that maximised visibility across AI-powered search experiences. Our audit surfaced opportunities across:

What we implemented
We implemented an AI Visibility System focused on helping search engines and large language models better understand the Smiley ecosystem. The work spanned AI search optimisation, structured data, content enhancement and discovery optimisation, all aimed at making the brand easier for machines to read and interpret.
